The GCC welcomes the reform projects undertaken by Morocco under the leadership of HM the King
Riyadh – The countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) welcomed, Sunday in Riyadh, the reforms and projects undertaken by Morocco, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, to develop the different socio-economic sectors and infrastructure of the Kingdom.
In his speech, the Secretary General of the GCC, Jasem Albudaiwi, welcomed the major reforms initiated by HM the King in the various political and economic areas, while emphasizing the importance of the strategic partnership linking the two parties which was reaffirmed during from the last meeting in Doha.
For his part, the Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar and President of the current session of the Council, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, congratulated the Kingdom for the tripartite organization of the 2030 Football World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal, reaffirming the willingness of the GCC countries to provide the necessary support to Morocco and to contribute to the implementation of projects initiated by the Kingdom under the leadership of HM the King with a view to hosting this global event .
This meeting, held in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, Mr. Nasser Bourita, and Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the GCC member countries, was the opportunity to strengthen the solid foundations of the strategic partnership linking the two parties, in accordance with the Vision of HM King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, and His brother Heads of State of the Gulf.
