Kannada film actress Harshika Poonacha told people about a painful incident on Friday, April 19, which left everyone stunned. He told through a video that the mob in Bengaluru attacked him and his family just because he spoke in Kannada. Not only this, some miscreants also tried to snatch the belongings of her husband. The actress claimed that even the policemen did not take action in this matter. Now she has sought help from the Chief Minister. Actually, Harshika Poonacha had gone with the family for dinner at a restaurant on Masjid Road in Pulikeshi Nagar of Fraser City. During this time an incident happened with him. Now through a social media post, he told that two men suddenly came near the driver’s seat window of his car and started arguing that the car was too big. If the vehicle moves forward, they may get hit.
Harshika narrated her ordeal
The actress said, ‘My husband ignored this by saying that we are not moving the car forward, you move to the side. After this, the car moved forward, by then those two people started abusing him and my family. It is said in their language that these Kannada people should be taught a lesson. And even an attempt was made to hit him on the face.

Police did not help Harshika
The actress told that within two-three minutes 20 to 30 people gathered near her car. Two of them tried to snatch her husband’s chain and as soon as they realized this, the husband immediately gave it to the actress. Then started damaging his car. Also physically abused. According to the actress, when she spoke in Kannada, people told her to keep this language to herself. When a known inspector was contacted, the people fled from there. His attempts to seek help from an ASI from a nearby police station remained futile as he was unwilling to help, he wrote.

The actress further said, ‘Are we living in Pakistan or Afghanistan? Is it wrong to use my language Kannada and face abuse for it in my own city??? How safe are we in our own city? The actress requested CM Siddaramaiah and the Karnataka State Police Department to look into the matter and take appropriate action.
