The Government Council adopts a draft decree on the National Council for Inland Fisheries and Aquaculture
Rabat – The Government Council, meeting Thursday in Rabat, adopted draft decree n°2.23.970 relating to the National Council for Continental Fisheries and Aquaculture.
Presented by the Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, Mohammed Sadiki, this decree aims to establish the composition of this Council, which is chaired by the Director General of the National Agency for Water and Forests (ANEF) or its representative, indicated the Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament, government spokesperson, Mustapha Baitas, during a press briefing after the Council.
In addition, the decree includes provisions which establish the operating modalities of the National Council for Inland Fisheries and Aquaculture, added the minister, indicating that this council is made up of members representing both government departments, public establishments and scientific organizations concerned, in addition to representatives of the regions and professional organizations.
