As part of the project “Xalqın mədəni sərvəti” (Cultural Heritage of the People), a series of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding Azerbaijani composer, People’s Artist Suleyman Alesgarov and organized by the Ganja State Philharmonic named after Fikret Amirov with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Union will be presented in Ganja from April 15 to 20 composers of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan National Conservatory, Ganja-Dashkesan, Central Aran, Shirvan-Salyan, Sheki-Zagatala, Gazakh-Tovuz regional departments of culture, the press service of the Philharmonic told Day.Az.
The opening took place at the Heydar Aliyev Center and began with a conference where the topics “Operettas of Suleyman Aleskerov”, “Songs and romances of Suleyman Aleskerov”, “Opera creativity of Suleyman Aleskerov”, “Traditions of symphonism of Suleyman Aleskerov”, etc. were discussed.
The next events were concert programs with the participation of educational schools and art centers of Ganja, Goranboy, Samukh, Dashkesan, Goygol districts, held at the Heydar Aliyev Center and the Ganja State Drama Theater.
Let us remind you that earlier, within the framework of the project “Cultural Heritage of the People”, events were presented dedicated to the classics of composer art Fikret Amirov and Gara Garayev and the master of mugham art Jabbar Garyagdyoglu.
