F1 24 is launched earlier than expected

The annual sports games usually don’t offer many surprises. Generally speaking, each iteration is only a slight improvement over the last, and they tend to launch around the same time of year each year. EA Sports FC comes around September, Madden NFL in August, and previously July has been for F1. But it won’t be like that this year.

EA and Codemasters have confirmed that F1 24 will debut on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S on May 31st. It will feature a Career mode that allows players to dress up as one of the actual drivers on the starting line, providing even more opportunities to connect F1 with F2.

F1 24 Xbox Series X/S comes with a new control system that should provide even more authentic driving, as well as improvements to many of the famous tracks around the world, including Silverstone. There will also be new systems for wheel suspension, tyres, aerodynamics and engine, in addition to more ways to play with the car’s layout.

As in the various editions of the game, Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc will grace the cover of the base edition, while Max Verstappen once again gets the honor of being on the Champions Edition.

Check out the trailer for F1 24 below, before the game launches in around six weeks.
