Fifteen days after its clear victory against Monastère, AF Biars Bretenoux 2 won 3-1 this Saturday evening on the Réquista field.
Two weeks after its big victory against Monastère with a score of 7 to 2, AF Biars Bretenoux 2 scored a second success in a row this Saturday evening in Réquista. In this match played on the field of an Aveyron team which remained on a convincing 3-0 success the previous weekend at Le Buisson, it was the Biarnais who made the best start. “We can fold this entry match,” confirms coach Bruno Tuesta. We had two face-to-face encounters in the first twenty minutes that we didn’t score and we left them in the match.”
At the half-hour mark, the Biarnais reserves were still rewarded for their efforts with a goal from Paul Poignet which allowed his team to go into the break with a one-goal lead. But from the start of the second half, Réquista came back to one goal everywhere and came close to taking the advantage straight away from a set piece. Faced with a local team very present in the engagement, the players of coach Bruno Tuesta put their foot back on the ball and took over the match on their own. The domination of the Lotois was rewarded by a second goal scored by Nonda twenty minutes from the end.
The players of AF Biars Bretenoux 2 took cover definitively after a third goal scored by the local team against their camp ten minutes from the end of the match. “I am happy with the group which has a second victory in a row. We come back with the three points of victory which almost ensures our retention in R3 four days before the end of the championship. Now we will continue to work to properly prepare for the arrival of the leader Onet-le-Château 2 on Saturday in Biars” concludes Bruno Tuesta.
