The maximum temperature may increase by two to three percent. However, another western disturbance is likely to arrive from Tuesday. Due to which there will be possibility of cloudy sky and rain. During this period, there is also a possibility of rain and hailstorm in the hilly areas.

What is the mercury level in Delhi?

Talking about the national capital Delhi, the maximum temperature recorded here on Saturday was 37.2 degrees Celsius, which is considered normal. The minimum temperature was 23.3 degrees Celsius, which is two degrees above the average temperature of this season. Humidity levels in the national capital ranged between 34 percent to 60 percent. The Meteorological Department has predicted strong surface winds during the day today. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 38 and minimum 24 degree Celsius. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the air quality index (AQI) of the national capital was recorded at 219 at 7 pm, which falls in the ‘poor’ category.

When will it rain in Delhi-NCR?

Meteorologist Soma Sen Roy said that a very strong western disturbance had passed on Saturday. It is currently active in the Western Himalayan region. In such a situation, the effect of change in weather will be visible there. While giving the weather forecast, he said that if Western Disturbance is active on Tuesday, it will be cloudy. This will bring the mercury down by 4 to 5 degrees. Delhi-NCR will be affected by intense heat for two days. However, the mercury will drop after this. This means that in the next 5 days, there may be two days of heat and a drop in the temperature.
