GERB warmed up with an impressive spring ball, Ivan Totev was deliberately not invited, because he is no longer a factor
The most important pre-election event of GERB in the campaign for the European Parliament and for the national vote will take place in Plovdiv, announced Boyko Borisov. He announced that he will be attended by the Spitzen candidate of the European People’s Party, Ursula von der Leyen, as the central guest.
According to people from the organization in Plovdiv, this will be the nail in the party’s campaign. It has not yet been specified when von der Leyen will arrive, but it is possible that it will be at the end of May or at the beginning of June. In all likelihood, the GERB leader will once again lead the leaves in the city on the hills, as he has done for years.
“GERB – Plovdiv are ready for the start of the pre-election campaign. At the spring ball of the organization last night, I spoke with many people who said that they are highly motivated to work for the maximum result of GERB both in the early parliamentary elections and those for the European Parliament Borisov said.
The entire GERB staff attended the ball, except for the former leader of the city organization, Ivan Totev. He was simply not invited because he was no longer a factor either in the party or in the city. The chairman of the organization in Plovdiv is the mayor Kostadin Dimitrov.
During the event last night, they also celebrated the reception of 114 new members in the city organization of GERB and handed them membership cards. Two of the youngest (19 years old) are Stoyan Mihov and Ivan Rashev, and the oldest newly admitted member is Zapryanka Stamatova, 70 years old.
