This is how Jonis Josef opened Friday’s memorial service.

– Do you see that all of Norway is mourning?

The memorial concert was led by Jonis Josef, and among the artists who were on stage are well-known names such as Jonas Benyoub and Arif.

– Hope you know that you were my brother even if we weren’t blood. Hope you know you were loved very much by your big brother. And I loved you as if you were only mine, but you belonged to the globe, said Arif in his memorial words.

– I feel my words are becoming poor. My dear little brother, do you see that the whole of Norway mourns that you are not here brother, he continued.

The last artist of the evening was Isah, who performed his own version of Dutty Dior’s song “Himmelen ötter seg”.
