jpnn.comJAKARTA – Legendary rock band, God Bless will soon launch the Anthology album in vinyl or vinyl record format.
The album, a collaboration between God Bless and the Demajors label, was previously only released in digital data format and digital compact disc
The personnel who fill the Anthology album are Achmad Albar (vocals), Ian Antono (guitar), Donny Fatah (bass), Abadi Soesman (keyboards), and Fajar Satritama (drums). Also joining were Hendra Lie who acted as executive producer of the album and musician Tohpati as music director.
The Anthology contains 11 of the best songs as well as one instrumental medley composition, which comes from six albums spanning God Bless’ 50 year career in the music world.
All songs have been re-arranged and recorded with orchestral accompaniment from the Czech Symphony Orchestra conducted by Tohpati.
The launch of the Anthology vinyl record is still part of the 50th anniversary of God Bless as well as celebrating the annual event for music fans, Record Store Day Indonesia, on April 20 2024.
Slightly different from Indonesia’s Record Store Day celebrations in previous years, now the event will take place in various physical music release stores spread throughout Indonesia.
The Vinyl Anthology, which will be released on Record Store Day Indonesia 2024, is a regular edition, containing two black long play discs in a gatefold cover, and is priced at IDR 450,000.
