Snake as an unexpected guest with passengers on an AirAsia flight from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Tawau. After seeing the snake, the plane returned to Kuching. The snake was found inside the aircraft’s light box. The incident took place last Thursday.
Captain Leong Tianling, Air Asia’s Chief Safety Officer, told The Star that this was a frequent occurrence.
“AirAsia is aware of the incident that took place on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Tawau on Thursday. As soon as the captain was informed, the plane was sent back to Kuching for disinfection, ”the NPR quoted him as saying.
Captain told The Star that it was not clear how the snake got on the plane and that it was not known if it belonged to the passengers. He said the passengers were safe.
The video of the snake crawling inside the plane was released. In the video shared by pilot Hana Mohsin Khan, the snake can be seen leaning on the bright side of the aircraft.
