/ On Thursday, the Iraqi Stars Football League Competitions Committee made minor adjustments, according to which the competition clubs were given sufficient rest before the start of the round.
Head of the Competitions Committee, Firas Mutashar, said in a statement received by Agency, “For technical reasons related to giving sufficient rest period to the clubs, especially the national team players, whether local or foreign professionals, affiliated with the various clubs after their return from the World Cup qualifiers, so it was decided to change the date of the round.” Just one day, so the tour will start next Sunday, the 31st of this month, instead of its previously scheduled date, Saturday, the 30th.”
He added, “The amendment will apply to all matches of the round for one day only.”
