Polling has started for by-elections in National Assembly Constituency NA-8 Bajaur and Provincial Assembly Constituency PK-22. Voters in these constituencies started arriving at their respective polling stations at 8 am and exercising their right to vote. are. The voting process will continue till 5 pm. A tight contest is expected between PTI-backed candidate Gul Zafar Khan on NA-8 and Mubarak Zeib Khan on PK-22 and candidates from opposition parties.
It may be noted that after the death of PTI-backed candidate Rehanzeb, the elections scheduled for February 8 in the constituency were postponed.

According to the Election Commission, the total number of polling stations in NA-8 of Bajaur is 366, of which 344 are joint polling stations, 12 for men and 10 for women.
The total number of registered voters in this constituency is 6 lakh 72 thousand 591, in which the number of male voters is 3 lakh 68 lakh 531 and the number of female voters is 3 lakh 4 thousand 60.
On the other hand, a total of 91 polling stations have been established on PK 22 of Bajaur, in which 88 are joint polling stations, in which 2 separate polling stations for men and one separate polling station for women have been established.
The total number of registered voters in this constituency is 1 lakh 78 thousand 326, in which male voters are 98 thousand and 66 while female voters are 79 thousand 720. According to the Election Commission, 88 joint polling stations, 2 separate polling stations for men and 1 separate polling station for women have been established on PK 22.
Apart from this, 127 polling stations have been declared normal, 151 sensitive while 88 are highly sensitive and 30 polling stations have been declared normal, 36 sensitive and 25 highly sensitive in constituency PK 22.
It should be remembered that due to the murder of candidate Rehanzeb in Bajaur, the February 8 elections were postponed.
