A solution to the mystery of the sudden death of an infant, just one year old, was provided by the forensic examination carried out in Rhodes as it revealed that the unfortunate little girl choked on food she had consumed. According to police sources, the cause of death is probably suffocation from the French fries he consumed, while no sexual abuse is found.

Initially, the doctors who examined the infant last night at the Kos hospital. where his relatives took him, they found bruises, abrasions in various parts of the body and suspicious marks on his body. A fact that mobilized them and they notified the Authorities. Regarding the bruises on the child’s body, the medical examiner ruled that they came from blows received by her two-year-old brother, or from some accidents.

The chronicle of the tragedy
When the infant was taken, just before 20:00 to the Kos hospital, he had no pulse and was not breathing. The doctors did everything necessary but the little girl did not come back to life. It was then determined that something was wrong as there was food in his respiratory system resulting in no flow of oxygen.

The 20- and 21-year-old parents are being held for fatal exposure. The police have taken statements from 10 people and the public prosecutor has also been informed.
