Through social networks, the request for help circulated for Enmanuel, a 15-year-old Cuban teenager who faces a harsh reality.
Diagnosed with schizophrenia, epilepsy and Cornelia de Lange syndrome, Enmanuel requires medications such as Clonazepam and Risperidone for treatment.
“Emanuel’s situation goes beyond his illness, his living conditions are very poor”reads the report, where it was also learned that Enmanuel’s mother’s checkbook was taken away because the family had no income, since the father suffers from heart disease that prevents him from working.
The daily struggle for food is another of the challenges that the family faces, an illness that practically all the people of the island suffer from.
“Getting friendly food for that family is a calamity,” adds the text, which describes how some days, the only food available is boiled bananas.
The images shared on social networks show the harsh reality in which the Cuban teenager lives, evidencing the urgency of the requested help.
“That is why we need to launch this campaign and once again turn to the solidarity of each of you to try to improve the quality of life of these people”.

Sadly, on the communist island, there are many families that are going through similar painful situations, and the regime, instead of offering help, does nothing but mock the sufferings of each of them.
“The vulnerability of this child is extreme and then they say that in Cuba no one will be left helpless and that humanism and solidarity will be,” questioned an Internet user.
