285 members of Myanmar’s border guard police and army who have taken refuge in Bangladesh have been given clearance to return by sea on Myanmar ships. Myanmar has agreed to take them back by ship on April 22. On the other hand, 150 Bangladeshis stranded in Myanmar will also return on the same ship. However, the ship’s journey will depend on the sea and the situation in Myanmar.

During the unveiling of the book ‘Bhubanjora Sheikh Hasina’s Asankhani’ written by journalist Zafar Wazed, who was awarded Ekushey Padak by the Director General of Press Institute Bangladesh (PIB) in the meeting room of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday (April 19), Foreign Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud has given this information. Officials of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and PIB and media representatives participated in the event.

The foreign minister said that late Sheikh Hasina is taking the country and the nation forward by removing all obstacles. Bangabandhu’s daughter, Sheikh Hasina, who returned from the valley of death repeatedly, did not get upset, instead, she took the caravan of people’s struggle forward with a stronger position, and made the country sit on the seat of dignity and honor in the heart of the world.

Foreign Minister and Joint General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Hasan Mahmud said that leadership like Sheikh Hasina is rare in today’s world. He is not only the leader of the country, he is the world leader today. UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said that Sheikh Hasina is not only her inspiration but also her children’s inspiration. India’s Priyanka Gandhi hugs Sheikh Hasina and calls her her inspiration. The Palestinian ambassador said that if there was a Sheikh Hasina in the Arab world, the war in Gaza could have been stopped. When Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina attends any world meeting, she becomes the center of attention.

The Foreign Minister thanked writer Zafar Wazed for preparing the collection of essays ‘Bhubanjora Sheikh Hasina’s Asankhani’.

BNP’s biggest political weakness is to protest to foreigners
BNP is again protesting at foreign embassies, Awami League Joint General Secretary Hasan Mahmud said in response to the journalists, ‘The greatest political weakness of BNP is to protest to foreigners. If the source of power in Bangladesh goes to the foreigners instead of the people, the foreigners will not put the BNP in power. Awami League believes in the power of the people. The people voted and elected Awami League and gave the responsibility of running the country. As a result, the speech of BNP leaders seems like a circus.
