A sustainable approach, investment in people and innovative technologies are the attractive force of Vivacom. As the largest company in the telecommunications and information technology sectors according to Forbes*, the telco has a strong corporate strategy for attracting and retaining talent, as well as their training and development.

Vivacom is a company where an intern can get all the resources and conditions, not just for a job, but also an opportunity to build a career. Over 20% of all employees in the company started their career as trainees. And recently, the telecom received another recognition for excellent results in its internship program from the Bulgarian Forum of Business Leaders in the “Investor in Human Capital” category.

“We have been developing and constantly upgrading the program for 20 years, so we have gained valuable experience and successful practices. In the last edition of the Program, 50% of the trainees chose to continue their career path at Vivacom, and their development continues with a rich portfolio of training and opportunities,” said Malina Chavdarova, Human Resources Director at Vivacom.

The Summer Internship Program is Vivacom’s longest-running initiative, with over 1,650 interns participating over the years.

“Last year we celebrated the 20th anniversary edition of the program. During the anniversary edition, we upgraded with 2 new initiatives – a 360-degree rotation in all key areas and a meeting with the CEO of Vivacom Nikolay Andreev,” explained Malina.

Young talents will have the opportunity to touch Vivacom’s world of technology and innovation again this year by applying until April 30 for the iconic Summer Internship Program. The 21st edition is themed ‘Become a VivaSuper Hero’ and Vivacom is looking for 52 young and motivated talents.

Each intern will have an individual mentor, with whom they will work on real business projects, undergo special training and participate in various initiatives and activities. Along with the paid three-month internship, the youth will receive a host of benefits, such as additional health insurance, food vouchers, a smartphone and much more.
