/ The Iraqi Basketball Federation announced that the match between Al-Shorta and Al-Hilla Club, scheduled for this evening, Wednesday, has been postponed until next month.
Basketball Federation media director Ahed Faleh told Agency, “The Al-Shorta and Al-Hilla match scheduled to be held in Baghdad for the Iraqi Basketball Premier League has been postponed and its scheduled date this evening at nine-thirty was changed to Sunday, the 7th of next April, at the same time.”
He added, “The change of date came due to Al-Shorta Club’s association with the West Asian Championship (Wasl) and its next meeting with an Iranian club.”
On another level, Faleh stated, “The Iraqi Basketball Federation has set the date for the regular meeting of the General Assembly of the Iraqi Basketball Federation, which will be held on Saturday, 4/20/2024, at 12 noon in the meeting hall of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee in Baghdad.
