A well-known American basketball player of the Peristeri team, is wanted by the police authorities after his partner complained about domestic violence.
According to information from newsit.gr, the American partner of the 30-year-old, also an athlete, complained on Friday night to the Department of Omonia, that the basketball player of the team of the western suburbs, beat her, as a result of which the authorities “combed” his area Peristeriou, where he resides to be located and handcuffed.
So far, despite the authorities’ investigations, the 30-year-old still remains missing, while his partner has sued him for causing bodily harm.
They looked for the player in Peristeri, but also in OAKA, on the sidelines of the match against Panathinaikos. However, he did not appear to play, as he declared illness.

According to the basketball player’s partner’s lawsuit in Department of Domestic Violence of Omonia the timeline of the horror is as follows:
“At around 12:30 on 19-4-2024, he was driven by A.T. Agios Panteleimon in G.A.E.B. Athens, the 26-year-old, born in Massachusetts, USA, basketball player, who reported her partner for violation of Article 6 of Law 3500/2006, for acts committed at 03.00 on 19/4/2024 in Peristeri , at an unknown address.
In particular, at the above place and time, the basketball player, guilty of a verbal incident, grabbed her by the neck, slapped her in the face and finally bit her on the back, acts which are mentioned in the Unsworn Witness Examination Report of the victim.
The 26-year-old did not know his home address in Peristeri, where the incident took place, while she refused to be transferred to the area of Peristeri and to indicate to the Police the place where the player lives.
It is also stated that the victim was given information and instructions pursuant to Article 21 of Law 3500/06 in order to receive, if she so desires, the appropriate moral support and the necessary material assistance from the competent agencies, that the “Panic Button” application was not installed Button) on her mobile phone, after she was previously informed about this possibility, as well as about the possibility of transferring her to the forensic service, but also about the possibility of her being transferred and temporarily accommodated in a safe place, but she did not wish to do so”.
