(24News) The Islamabad High Court has adjourned the hearing on the petition filed by former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi for transfer from Bani Gala Sub Jail to Adiala Jail till next week.
Islamabad High Court Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb heard the petition of Bushra Bibi, lawyers Usman Riaz Gul and Khalid Chaudhry appeared before the court on behalf of Bushra Bibi.
Public lawyer Malik Abdul Rehman gave arguments and said that we are seeing on our own that there is nothing illegal about the establishment of all jails, we need some time for it.
Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb remarked that how can the Chief Commissioner declare himself a provincial government? You have kept them in solitary confinement, it is a form of torture, there is a writ and 6 miscellaneous petitions in this case.
Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb spoke to the public prosecutor that you have no ground.
The court asked Bushra Bibi’s lawyer that do you still want to transfer Bushra Bibi from Bani Gala to Adiala Jail? Lawyer Usman Riaz Gul replied that yes of course, we want to transfer Bushra Bibi to Adiala Jail.
The court remarked that we do not want this case to be delayed any longer, later the court accepted the request of Bushra Bibi’s lawyers to ask for the time of the public prosecutor while seeking written arguments at the next hearing and closed the case. The hearing was adjourned till next week.

It should be noted that on April 16, the Islamabad High Court rejected the request of Bushra Bibi, the wife of former Prime Minister and founding chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan, who was convicted in the Tosha Khana case, from Bani Gala Sub Jail to Adiala Jail for non-compliance. While Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb remarked that lawyers themselves do not want Bushra Bibi to go to jail.
Later on the same day, former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi filed an appeal in the Islamabad High Court regarding the transfer of Sub Jail Bani Gala to Adiala Jail.
On April 18, the Islamabad High Court adjourned the hearing till April 22, reviving the dismissed petition of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi for non-compliance with her transfer from Bani Gala to Adiala Jail.
