EP Petroecuador will export a total of 7,560,000 barrels of crude oil, of which 3,960,000 barrels correspond to Crudo Oriente and 3,600,000 barrels to Crudo Napo. This sale will generate approximate income for Ecuador of USD 547 million.

The award was made this March 20, to the company Shell Western Supply and Trading Limited, the shipments of Crudo Oriente, presenting a differential of USD -5.90 and a premium of USD +2.12 per barrel; and the state company Unipec America Inc., corresponding to Napo Crude for a differential of USD -9.09 per barrel. These EP Petroecuador International tenders were developed with transparency and in accordance with current legal regulations.

For these contests, 32 companies qualified in the Supplier Registry of the International Trade Management were invited, of which four offers were received in each process. These sales are governed under the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil marker.

The data

So far in 2024, EP Petroecuador has made seven crude oil sales in the spot market, of which three correspond to Crudo Oriente and four to Crudo Napo.
