The Olympic Committee media stated in a statement received by the (INA), that “the committee assigned by the Executive Office of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee held an expanded meeting with representatives of seven sports federations, in order to discuss the national federations’ curricula, and the meeting was chaired by the Second Deputy Chairman of the Olympic Committee, Samir Al-Moussawi.” And the membership of Abdul Salam Khalaf, member of the Executive Office and technical advisor to the President of the Olympic Committee, Thiers Odisho.
Al-Moussawi said, according to the statement, that “the committee in charge discussed this afternoon, Tuesday, the curricula of the federations (basketball, billiards, table tennis, rugby, kickboxing, karate, and jiu-jitsu),” noting that “the committee’s work is ongoing and continuous with the sports federations for the purpose of discussing and studying the curricula.” their annual.
He added, “The committee listened to comprehensive details about local and foreign participation, camps, and tournaments, and made a number of observations after reviewing the curricula presented and the disbursement mechanism in accordance with the regulations in force in sports federations,” noting that “the federations presented their detailed visions to the committee charged with discussing the files related to the aspect “Financial, so that it can carry out its duties in the best possible way and move towards achievement.”
