He indicated that the delegation of Moroccan journalists in Côte d’Ivoire will be the largest in terms of numbers, noting that thanks to this convention, representatives of the national media will benefit from support and accompaniment to facilitate their work. in the field.
“This is a first experience which will be evaluated and generalized to allow Moroccan journalists to benefit from the best conditions to carry out their work,” he noted, estimating that the role of journalists is important in view of the interest aroused by sport in general and the national football team in particular among all Moroccans.
For his part, the president of ANME, Driss Chahtane noted that this partnership agreement is a roadmap likely to further professionalize the work of Moroccan journalists at the international level, adding that it constitutes an important step for media coverage. sporting events on an international scale.
“This is the first time that an official delegation of representatives of the national media will be in Côte d’Ivoire to cover the African Cup of Nations,” he noted, adding that the role of the media, particularly the sports journalists, is to reflect the dynamics of development of national sport in general and football in particular.
