Gopalganj: AIM Pathshala has been started by IRTS Vijay Kumar in Gopalganj, Bihar. Vijay Kumar, selected from UPSC, is currently working as Senior DOM in Izzat Nagar in Indian Railway Traffic Service. Although 2014 batch IAS Vijay Kumar is contributing to the Indian Railway Service, he took some time out from all this and along with some IAS officers, he has laid the foundation of AIM Pathshala. AIM means Ambedkar Initiative for Marginalized. That is, initiative is taken to join school to those economically and socially weaker children who are unable to study due to family circumstances.

AIM school running IAS-IPS

Apart from IRTS Vijay Kumar, IAS Santosh Kumar, IPS Mustaq and other IAS officers jointly run this AIM Pathshala. Bihar’s sixth AIM school was inaugurated in Turkahan, Gopalganj. Before this, M Pathshala was also run in Samastipur, Aurangabad, Araria and Vaishali.

What is the concept of AIM Pathshala?

Vijay Kumar told that the concept of M Pathshala has been kept for those poor children who are deprived of schools due to lack of money due to family circumstances and who are unable to go to school. Due to financial constraints or family condition, their education gets disrupted since childhood. He said that such children are identified. The parents of the children are explained. Then those children are brought to M Pathshala to connect them with schools. Where children are educated under the supervision of trained teachers and selected IAS officers. Children are counseled right from childhood during their studies. Interest in studies is created in them.

Enrollment of 80 children deprived of schools so far: Vijay

This school is being run in Pithori of Manjhagarh block of Gopalganj and Turkaha of Nagar police station. Vijay Kumar said that currently 80 children have been enrolled in Turkaha, who were deprived of schools till now. Along with being taught here, these children are also enrolled in schools. So that these children can take interest in studies since childhood and can serve their society by becoming officers.

Free coaching being run for IAS officers

Vijay Kumar told that apart from M Pathshala Pathshala, NACS (National Association of Civil Servants) has been formed by some IAS officers of Bihar and Jharkhand. Through this, students preparing for UPSC are guided by IAS officers on the lines of free coaching. Their mock interview is conducted. Students are completely prepared for the UPSC examination.

In NACS, students are also guided by the working IAS officers of Bihar and Jharkhand. This time in the year 2023, 100 children from this organization had appeared in the UPSC result. Out of these, 27 children have been selected. In this way, some young IAS children of Bihar and Jharkhand are prepared from the foundation level for the country’s highest UPSC examination, which is praiseworthy.
