On the latest episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Tucker Carlson, a former Fox News host, expressed an unusual opinion about UFOs, suggesting that they are not aliens from outer space, but rather “spiritual entities.”

“There is a lot of evidence that they are under the ocean and underground. They have been here for a long time, and it is very clear to me that they are spiritual entities,” Carlson said.

According to him, these entities are “above observable nature” and do not obey the laws of science.

This theory is consistent with the opinions of other famous personalities, including Congressman Eric Burlison and legislator Tim Burchett. Burchett, in particular, referred to biblical texts, arguing that descriptions of UFOs can be found in the Book of the Prophet Ezekiel.

“The first chapter of the book of Ezekiel is pretty clear about UFO sightings,” Burchett told reporters in January 2023 before getting UFO debunking journalists to testify before Congress last summer.

“When I mention ‘angels,’ to me it’s just a synonym for extra-dimensional beings,” Burlison added.

Tucker Carlson also echoed these ideas on his April 19 podcast, admitting his ignorance of many of the unresolved questions surrounding what are now called Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).

“Sometimes these things (UFOs) would land on military bases… Soldiers would approach them and it would result in traumatic brain injury or death. Why isn’t this on the front page of the New York Times? I don’t know,” the journalist added.

The former Fox News host also stated, “If the US government actually had contact with these beings and made some deals with them, it’s really hard to fathom.”

Such theories provoke different reactions. Some experts dismiss them as absurd, while others do not rule out the possibility that UFOs may have an unearthly or “spiritual” origin.

Kursor also reported that Tucker Carlson called Putin’s attempts to “denazify” Ukraine “stupid.”
