jpnn.comJAKARTA – Chairman of the MPR Bambang Soesatyo appreciated the success of the Pancasila Youth cadres being elected as legislative members, both as members of the Indonesian DPR, DPD, provincial and district/city DPRD in the 2024 elections.
It was recorded that 48 Pancasila Youth members succeeded in becoming members of the DPR and 14 people became members of the DPD for the 2024-2029 period.
The man who is familiarly called Bamsoet said that the Pancasila Youth cadres who were elected as legislative members at the national and regional levels came from various political parties.
“This proves that Pancasila Youth has many cadres who are competent in the world of politics and also shows that Pancasila Youth is not going anywhere, but is everywhere,” said Bamsoet, who also serves as Deputy General Chair of Pancasila Youth, Tuesday (23/4).
Bamsoet said that in the 2024 presidential election, the three deputy general chairs of Pemuda Pancasila played important roles in the three winning teams for the presidential and vice presidential candidates.
Bamsoet through the Golkar Party supports Prabowo-Gibran, Ahmad M. Ali from the Nasdem Party supports Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, and Arsjad Rasjid as national chairman of the Teamses in Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.
Currently, said Bamsoet, President Joko Widodo and Vice President Maruf Amin have also become Honorary Members of Pemuda Pancasila.
“This proves that nationalist values and religious values can mix in the big house of Pancasila. Because Pancasila values actually never mix with nationalist values or religious values,” stressed Bamsoet.
