/ Algerian player Wassim Jazzar, Wadi El Maa star player, died yesterday, Sunday, after a horrific injury during the confrontation with Amal Marawana, last week.
The 17-year-old young player appeared in a video clip hitting the ball with his head before another player from the Amal Marawneh team intervened. After a simple contact, the young man fell to the ground before he was taken to the hospital, after which he fell into a coma until he died yesterday.
The Algerian Football Federation announced the death of the player, and offered its sincere condolences, expressions of sympathy and prayers to his family, fans and the Najm Oued El Maa Club.
The scene of the accident spread like wildfire across social networking sites, especially after the announcement of the young player’s death. Comments also poured in in grief for the young man, especially since his death came suddenly, as the accident to which he was exposed was simple, according to commentators.
