Yesterday and for the first time in his exchange of accusations, businessman Ricardo Salinas Pliego referred to his friend, the President, as a “lying government official.”
This, in response to the accusations of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) that on his television station the magnate imposes his editorial line, in recent days, to disqualify the creation of the Pension Fund for Wellbeing:
“Salinas Pliego himself, in an interview, says – which is even embarrassing – that he does not allow his news anchors to act freely, that he gives them the line. What lines are they? Because that way things become clearer.”
