The country’s largest private telecommunications company Bakcell has announced the launch of a new brand identity. Bakcell Chief Executive Officer Klaus Müller shared this news with reporters at a press conference held at the Baku Congress Center on April 25, 2024.
“The new Bakcell is designed to provide innovative services to the people of Azerbaijan. Our new brand reflects bold changes in appearance, content and positioning. It is about redefining our work within the company itself. We will focus exclusively on innovation. The necessary innovations in Azerbaijan will serve as our North Star , as our guide to the future,” noted Klaus Müller.
Thus, the company’s new visual solution is a logo in which five dynamic figures intertwine with each other in the shape of a star leading to the future. Bakcell’s North Star connects these elements, in other words, it connects what is truly important, sometimes uniting people, sometimes places, and sometimes those valuable moments in everyone’s lives. This innovative design represents Bakcell’s rapid transition into the digital future.
Bakcell unveiled the AI-powered humanoid robot at a press conference and confirmed that it is using AI in its new brand identity to interact with customers as well as improve the professional skills of its employees. With the upcoming series of innovations, Bakcell aims to increase its value, all on the basis of providing the fastest mobile network in Azerbaijan, especially in Karabakh, which is of paramount importance to Azerbaijan.
Last year, Bakcell entrusted the development of the new brand concept to Saffron, a global consulting company from Spain that has worked with world-famous brands such as Meta and Youtube. Bakcell has introduced a revolutionary new innovative approach throughout the entire value chain. Thus, Bakcell cooperates with its key supplier Azerconnect, and both companies work together with leading international suppliers and partners such as Cisco, Huawei, Nokia and others. This also includes Bakcell’s subsidiary Vodafone Ukraine, part of the Neqsol holding, and therefore Vodafone Global.
A series of innovations began. Our future AI-enabled voice assistant will be available to customers as ChatBot and VoiceBot (an Apple product similar to Siri), based on the latest advances in deep learning such as LLM and GPT.
