The Stellar Blade just became available exclusively for PlayStation 5! So, wanting to celebrate it, Sony in collaboration with the development team released the launch trailer of the adventure, while making it known that the Day One update will bring an important addition.
In case you want a refresher, Stellar Blade takes place in the near future, with humanity driven from Earth after a losing war against alien invaders called NA:tives. To reclaim Earth, protagonist Eve and her team are detached from the colony to fight the NA:tives and take Earth back. Eventually, Eve meets a survivor named Adam, who leads her to Xion, the last human city on Earth.
As for the Day One update, this adds New Game Plus mode to Stellar Blade. This is unlocked after completing the main story, allowing players to re-experience the adventure on a higher difficulty, but keeping everything they had collected. New Game Plus allows players to unlock 34 new costumes for EVE, Adam and other characters, while increasing the level cap for the weapon, Body Core, Beta Core and Tumbler.
