Together with American partners, a planning framework for the project was developed, and then work was carried out to locate a sea pier and create infrastructure for receiving cargo and humanitarian aid.
The project, covering an area of approximately 270 dunams, includes a remote-controlled hydraulic gate system, providing flexibility and safety for operations. Electrical installation work is also being carried out to support the facility and accommodate the necessary equipment.
The floating pier, being built by American specialists, will be connected to the shore and designed to receive humanitarian aid. The maritime force will ensure the safety of the humanitarian mission forces all the way from the moment the naval forces arrive until the completion of the operation.
Earlier, Cursor reported that Great Britain would send troops into the Gaza Strip. British armed forces will be stationed near the American pier in the Gaza Strip.
