BOLZANO. Provincial social housing institute: councilor Mair and president Tosolini meet the new commissioner Sartori. Greater safety in residential complexes, stricter controls and quicker interventions. These are the main points that the councilor and the president of the institute agreed with the commissioner.
The provincial councilor Ulli Mair, together with the president of Ipes Francesca Tosolini, held a meeting yesterday with the police commissioner of Bolzano, Paolo Sartori.
During the “six-eyes” conversation, current problems were discussed, with particular focus on the general issues of safety and public order within and near the residential complexes of the Institute for Social Housing (Ipes).
«Among the many topics discussed, I underlined to the police commissioner the need to speed up eviction procedures and increase controls against illegal occupations, as well as to act decisively against the phenomena of petty crime, violence and abandonment. A common approach is needed which is also in the interests of the other residents who live in the Ipes accommodation”, remarked provincial councilor Mair.
Commissioner Paolo Sartori, for his part, said he was aware of the current problems, ready to address them through careful monitoring and rapid intervention by the police.
Precisely on this point, the police commissioner of Bolzano underlined the importance of reporting incidents to the competent authorities and, if necessary, of filing a complaint with the police, inviting citizens to use the “Youpol” application more often, which allows you to transmit , anonymously and in real time, messages and images to State Police operators.
During the meeting it was also agreed to intensify cooperation and take the necessary measures to improve safety and guarantee the tenants of the Ipes apartments, to help make these spaces a safe and livable environment for the tenant. DA.PA
