US Army Central Command confirmed the strike on the ship. They clarified that the incident occurred on Friday at 17:49 local time. Two vessels came under fire: the tanker M.V. MAISHA, sailing from India to Egypt, and the MV Andromeda Star, whose flag belongs to Panama.
According to media reports, the ship “MV Andromeda Star” was transporting oil from *Russia to India.
