A couple who left Cuba went to social networks in search of information about the pet they had to leave behind when they left the country.
The Internet user identified as Mara Elizabet Aroche Ledesma said that she and her husband had a dog and that they have not been able to get over having to leave it with a friend.
“My husband and I left Cuba and when we left he had to leave his dog, and that pain has never gone away. (Denver is a Siberian Husky, he is smaller and hairier than usual, he should be 4 years old now). We left it with a friend, in Havana, (Calabazar) 2 and a half years ago, she unfortunately had to give it away, but we never knew where it went, she never gave us the phone number or address of the person who had it, We only asked him to know how he was doing but it was not possible for him to give us that person’s number,” the publication reads.
The woman stressed that her pet is very important to her husband and her, however, they do not know who has it, nor what condition the animal is in.
The couple hopes that with the publication on social networks the person who is taking care of the dog will appear.
