On the Small Stage of the Azerbaijan State Theater for Young Spectators in Baku, the premiere of the play “Ümid nəğməsi” (Song of Hope) based on the play by the young playwright Parviz Seidli took place, Day.Az reports.

The production director of the play is Honored Artist Nijat Kazymov, the production designer is Nisa Hasanova, and Zaur Rashidov worked on the musical design.

Actors Sevindzh Aziz, Syanan Kazymov, Nurlan Suleimanly, Husein Bayramov and Sabina Mamedzade took part in the performance.

The play, written in the genre of psychological drama, reflects the harmony of human emotions against the backdrop of the complex relationship between a young man with autism and his family. The work talks about the importance of people supporting each other.

A song of hope – when kamancha sounds in the hands of a young man with autism… And the sound of this melody can become the sound of hope to save a family trapped under the rubble during an earthquake…

The production made a great impression on the audience; the actors did not act, but lived on stage. They worried, quarreled, argued, and the audience worried along with them. And the beautiful sounds of music gave peace and comfort…

Let us note that the performance was prepared for screening at the first International Festival of Children’s Theaters + IT “Children of the 21st Century”, which will be held in the city of Tashkent (Uzbekistan).
