Guro-gu will hold the 102nd Children’s Day event at the Sindorim Opera House on the 5th. To celebrate the 102nd Children’s Day, Guro-gu (Guro-gu) will hold a rich Children’s Day event at the Sindorim Opera House and Sindorim Techno Neighborhood Park on May 5.

The district changed the location of this year’s Children’s Day event from Gocheok Neighborhood Park to Sindorim Opera House in case it rains.

This year, with the theme of ‘Let’s all have fun in Guro’, the full-scale event begins at 10 a.m. with an exciting pre-ceremony performance by the Gugudan choir, dance club team, and cheerleading team.

The commemorative ceremony will be held for 30 minutes starting at 10:30 and will be held in the following order: △National Rites △Introduction of guests △Reading of the Charter of the Rights of the Child △Citations for exemplary children and youth facility workers △Commemorative remarks △Children’s Day song chorus.

After the ceremony, celebration performances such as the opening declaration and magic and bubble shows will continue until 12 p.m.

The highlight of the day’s event is the ‘Children’s Writing and Drawing Contest’, which starts at 11 am.

Topics for each category will be announced on the same day, and participation can be made in advance via QR code or on-site.

The district plans to select a total of 65 winners, including 1 grand prize winner, 30 from the daily essay contest, and 35 from the drawing contest, and hold an awards ceremony at a later date.

In addition, there are many things the whole family can enjoy around the event venue from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

First, stage events starting at 1 p.m. include family cooperative survival games such as limbo game, family jumping rope, cooperative jegichagi, family golden bell, and OX quiz competition.

The food market is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
