The candidate of Morena, PT and PVEM for Mayor Miguel HidalgoMiguel Torruco Garza offered to promote smart sustainable mobility to reduce travel times for the thousands of people who travel through that territory.

During his tours of the Ampliación Tacubaya and Ampliación Granada neighborhoods where he met with neighbors, the Morenista explained that, in collaboration with the CDMX government, he will install smart traffic lights on some main streets to help make traffic more fluid and pedestrians walk more safely on those roads.

He announced that he will also promote sustainable mobility with a project to expand the district’s bicycle lane network, because the current mayoral government has not built a single more metro in three years.

“Our project,” he specified, “provides for total bicycle connectivity with neighboring mayors and municipalities to continue promoting zero-emission green transportation.”

Torruco Garza informed the neighbors that it plans to build a network of safe, well-lit pedestrian circuits with full accessibility for people with disabilities.

Likewise, the candidate of the Morena, PT and PVEM coalition assured, we are going to build two large bicycle parking lots to make it easier for cyclists to travel and have safe places to leave their bikes.

He pointed out that neighbors will be able to access these large parking lots through an intelligent application that will provide the people of Miguel Hidalgo with a dozen more public services.

On 1 de Mayo and 11 de Abril streets, in the Ampliación Tacubaya neighborhood, he recalled that his government plan is based on five strategic axes: “security, which we already made known, and very soon we will report on: quality government, infrastructure and environment, well-being with humanism, and of course mobility.”
