In a statement to MAP, the head of the social affairs division at the level of the district prefecture of Moulay Rachid, Said Traoua, indicated that the Eerchad youth platform based in Sidi Othman, is a social innovation entity and a convergence center for different programs and organizations working in the field of economic inclusion of young people and their professional integration.
This structure, underlined the manager, sets up a support program dedicated to young people from the Moulay Rachid-Sidi Othman prefecture, looking for employment or who have project ideas. It is structured around three main axes, namely: Entrepreneurship dedicated to project leaders, employability focusing in particular on supporting young people seeking employment, in addition to the social economy axis. and solidarity aimed at project leaders in the field of cooperatives and small businesses, with an emphasis on the marketing of local products, he continued.
For his part, the president of the platform and the Najm Association for the economic inclusion of young people, Hassan Rizk, indicated that Eerchad is a platform for convergence between different institutions, organizations and programs linked to youth to be , ultimately, a ”One Stop Shop” to meet the expectations of young people in terms of information and guidance
It also involves the establishment of an ecosystem for the socio-economic integration of young people, through partnership agreements with the academic sphere, economic circles, institutional organizations and associative actors, both national and international. international, the aim being to broaden the range of skills that will contribute to the development of the platform and its programs, he said.
And added: “Our Ambition is to instill in our young people the necessary confidence in their potential and to equip them with appropriate skills to carry out their own life projects, with conviction, commitment and responsibility.”
For the executive director of this platform, Amine Moâtassim, this structure supports young people and listens to them in order to better guide them and provide them with training in project development and feasibility studies, in addition to the principles of management. business. And note that since its creation in December 2020, the Eerchad Youth platform has recorded a total of 2,960 beneficiaries, while in 2023, the platform has received a total of 1,100 young people.
Project leaders, added Mr. Moâtassim, benefit from a subsidy of 90% of the overall cost of the project, which can go up to 100,000 DH, stressing that young people benefit from 30 to 40 hours of training before the creation of the projects and 24 months of support after the start of their projects. For job seekers, the platform offers 60 hours of training for non-graduates, 30 hours of training for graduates and 6 months of support after integration.
Since the launch of its third phase by HM King Mohammed VI in September 2018, the INDH has placed human capital, an essential lever of development, at the heart of its concerns. The strategic objectives of this phase III (2019-2023) aim to achieve inclusive human development, which allows equal opportunities for the benefit of all citizens.
