The production company behind the film launched a collaborative financing campaign to cover production costs.
Let it all be over is the title of the film that seeks to bring to the big screen the largest corporate fraud in the history of Chile, known as the La Polar Case.
This case not only affected more than 400,000 people whose debts were unilaterally modified by the well-known department store, but also unleashed greater oversight in the industry. This situation marked a milestone in retail and how clients enforce their consumer rights through class action lawsuits.
In order to make this film, the production companies in charge announced a crowdfunding campaign to complete the production budget. With this, anyone who wishes can contribute different amounts to be part of the film.
How to participate in the film inspired by the La Polar Case
From Together Films and the marketing agency Platform Media announced that the collaborative financing campaign is now working through the website called catapult me. Along with this, they reported that this initiative is already active and will be extended until next year. Saturday June 8.
The film seeks to raise 150 million pesos to complement the cost of production and will begin recording at the end of 2024. In that context, there is still time for you to be part of Let it all be over, and here we tell you how the donation works.
The contributions range from $25.000, $50.000, $100.000 y $300.000and the rewards include participation in filming for one day, invitation to the Avant Premiere, in-person Meet&Greet with the leading cast, having the physical script signed by the cast, participation in the script reading, invitation to an online masterclass, participation in creating an alternative poster and much more.
“This campaign proposes an unprecedented mechanism in Chile. First, it is the largest campaign ever. Second, because whoever contributes will be able to really get involved in the entire process of creating a film, financing part of the production and also receiving rewards and exclusive material. depending on the contribution they make,” explained the director Moses Sepúlveda.
The film will feature a cast made up of renowned national actors such as Francisco Melo, Benjamín Vicuña and Paulina García, and many more.
