On the eve of Passover, the price of air tickets usually increases, as many people want to spend the holiday abroad. But after its completion, in May and June, airlines offer tickets to various countries at budget prices.
The Marker reports this.
Analysts analyzed prices and found that in May-June the airline Wizz Air offers affordable flights to London (UK) – from $207, and using Transavia you can fly for $266 to Paris (France). It’s even cheaper to fly to Athens, Greece, as Wizz Air offers tickets for $148. And those who want to visit New York can take advantage of the offer of the airline United, which sells flight tickets for $681.
Two weeks before Passover, ticket prices to these destinations were twice as expensive. For example, tickets to Paris with El Al airlines cost $688, although they can now be purchased for $422. And tickets to London from EasyJet cost $636 (three times more expensive than today from Wizz Air).
Note that ticket prices will fall next month due to a drop in demand and the expected opening of Terminal 1 at Ben Gurion in early June. Although many Israelis are afraid to book tickets, due to the tense situation in the country, airlines may unexpectedly cancel flights.
