The APC does not comment on Sahashchyk’s letter about the “preparation of an act of aggression” on the territory of Belarus

Sakhashchyk’s press service did not respond to “Pozhir”‘s request. At the same time, on April 26, the “Belsat” TV channel reported that the politician confirmed the authenticity of the letter, but “requested it not to be published” and refused further comments.

The document marked “secret”, drawn up on behalf of the Department of National Security of the APC, headed by Sahashchyk, states that “through closed channels, operational information was received from partners about the fact of an act of aggression being prepared in relation to the object of the critical energy infrastructure of the Republic of Belarus.”

The executors are called “a group of citizens of the Republic of Belarus who live on the territory of EU countries”, which is allegedly “affiliated with one of the military-patriotic clubs of Belarusian opposition initiatives in Poland and Lithuania, namely “Pospalitae Rushenie” (Poland), “Litviny” (Lithuania)”:

“In view of the above, we are forced to inform the addressees of this letter about the negative consequences of this action both for its organizers and for the direct performers.

In the case of an attempt to implement such an action, these consequences will be inevitable and unwavering, due to the actions that will be taken immediately by the EU countries and Ukraine,” the document said.

The press service of “Litvinov” previously informed “Belsat” that “the club is an official non-governmental organization and does not allow illegal actions.”

The press service of the “Commonwealth Movement” (PR) stated that it received this letter “from friends”. The headquarters of the initiative asked DNB for additional information “to try to identify possible attackers, but there were no answers citing confidentiality.”

“We have not received a request from the Polish special services to provide the information contained in the document on behalf of the DNB. After an internal check, a decision was made that this was a provocation in relation to the “Commonwealth Movement,” the PR press service noted.

• At the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly on April 25, the head of the KGB, Ivan Tertel, said that the special service allegedly prevented strikes from the territory of Lithuania by combat drones on objects in Minsk and its surroundings. The Lithuanian military bloc called it disinformation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs handed the Chargé d’Affaires of Belarus Yaroslav Khmyl a diplomatic note with the demand to “immediately refute the disinformation.”
