What time will we celebrate Easter – The exit of the excursions is in progress

by time news

The firing of the arrow is approaching, however it is not yet clear what Cairo will have on Easter Sunday, with the temperature reaching up to 27 degrees Celsius during Holy Week, with no shortage of local rain.

Until Holy Wednesday the main feature of the weather will be the very strong north winds in the Aegean.

In fact, on Maundy Monday and Maundy Tuesday, 8 Beaufort will reach locally and weaken according to ERT meteorologist Panagiotis Yiannopoulos.

It is extremely possible that it will rain for a while Big Tuesday in Thrace, northern Crete and southern Evia.

From Great Thursday winds will weaken further and temperatures will rise across the country.

Local showers in the north will occur on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.

He said that there is no possibility of a ban on Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday, stressing that there may be rains from the central part of the country and towards the north of the country.

He made it clear that the Easter weather forecast will be more secure on Maundy Thursday.

What will the weather be like on Holy Monday?

Generally clear weather with a few local clouds in Thrace, the Cyclades, northern Crete and in the midday and afternoon hours in the central and northern mainland. Rain will occur in northern Crete in the morning hours and in Thrace until the evening.
Winds will blow in the west east northeast 4 to 6 and in the east north northeast 5 to 7 and locally in the Aegean 8 Beaufort.
The temperature will rise slightly in the western and northern continents. It will reach 20 to 24 and locally in the west, southern Crete and the Dodecanese 25 to 27 degrees Celsius.

The exodus of Easter licensees has already begun

It is worth noting that although the weather landscape is not clear, there are many licensees who leave Athens by any means.

It is worth noting that they only traveled on Friday 20,000 passengers. High occupancy rates are also recorded on air flights and KTEL buses.

For this reason, already from 26/04 to 12 May, the following measures have been put into effect to facilitate the departure of Easter excursions:

policing of the road network by sector, based on the particular traffic conditions of each region,
increased police presence and enhanced policing of the points of the road network, where there is a frequency of road accidents,
increased traffic measures at the entrances and exits of large urban centers, where a lot of vehicle traffic is observed,
regulation of traffic with pedestrian traffic wardens, at key intersections, to avoid traffic congestion,
increased traffic measures in places where mass passenger traffic is observed (airports, ports, stations, etc.),
traffic regulations in places where festive events will take place,
presence of traffic wardens at the Toll Stations of the Country to facilitate traffic, inform and advise drivers and passengers and
informing the citizens through the Press Offices, in any case where it becomes necessary to inform the public widely about the existence of any traffic and other problems.
