Munich – Klaus Otto Nagorsnik († 68) had been retired for a long time – but was still fully active on TV. Since 2014, the former librarian has shown on “Gefragt – Gejagt” that he knows more than most of the quiz show participants. On April 24, 2024, terrible news shocked the fans of the ARD show: Klaus Otto Nagorsnik is dead. His colleagues also say a touching farewell and dedicate their last, emotional words to him.

“It is with great shock that we learned of the sudden and unexpected death of Klaus Otto Nagorsnik,” the official statement said Instagram-Account of the show, which is moderated by Alexander Bommes (48), announced. In a few weeks the show will be back on the program and will drive Kai Pflaume (56) from his broadcast slot. Klaus Otto Nagorsnik will then leave a big gap. “We will remember him as a wonderful person and a great hunter. Our thoughts are with his family and friends in these difficult times,” the ARD continued.
How much the pensioner is missed is already clear – because his colleagues are gradually reporting on the Internet. Sebastian Klussmann (35) shares a photo together just a few minutes after the official death announcement – the last with Klaus Otto Nagorsnik. He also dedicates a few words to the deceased. “Our last picture,” he wrote, adding a crying emoji.

Then he remembers the situation. “Come on, let’s take a picture,” he quotes himself – and then his colleagues. “Oh, Klussi again? Well, okay.” In the end, Klaus Otto Nagorsnik liked the photo and laughed heartily about it. “This memory is captured and shareable, so many more beautiful ones are only in my head,” Sebastian Klussmann continues, remembering the TV hunter’s incredible knowledge. “Incomprehensible. I’ll miss you so much. Take care, my dear KO. Quiz continues above,” were his last words to his friend and colleague.

Sebastian Klussmann also uses the photo contribution to once again remember the 68-year-old’s beginnings. Because when he received a request for “Asked – Hunted” many years ago, he was skeptical. “I was asked in 2013 whether Klaus Otto Nagorsnik could imagine becoming a ‘hunter’. Back then I only knew him from two quiz tournaments. He has the necessary knowledge, no question about it. But he doesn’t have a TV, is the TV world even for him? And yes!” says Klussmann.
Sebastian Jacoby (46) has also already spoken out about the death of his colleague and also shared a photo together. “Come back, big guy! Your chair is empty! We miss you!” he writes alongside a black and white photo of himself and Klaus Otto Nagorsnik. Many fans also took the opportunity to mourn the TV quiz star in the posts.
“It was an absolute role model for me to convey your knowledge in such a personable way with such a calm charisma. For me, something will always be missing from the first from today onwards,” writes a fan. Klaus Otto Nagorsnik leaves a big gap – on TV, but also among his friends and family.
