The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) reported on the arrest warrant for 15 people in Cabañas for different crimes, including attempted aggravated homicide, theft by computer means, among others.
“In Cabañas, the FGR ordered the capture of 15 individuals, including civilians and gang members, accused of the following crimes: Fraud; Theft by computer means; Illegal limitation on freedom of movement️ and attempted aggravated homicide,” said the FGR.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, Silvia Carolina Morales Aguirre was captured for the crime of fraud. In December 2022, the victim contacted her to buy a tourist package to Cartagena, Colombia, but she did not receive the money or the package that Morales had offered her.
Also, Rodrigo Enrique Rivera Arriaza was captured. The victim published the sale of a vehicle on social media, Rivera contacted her, asked for his account number to give him an advance and sent him a link, but the accused stole US$1,500.00 from his savings account.
“The arrests were made in Sonsonate, Ahuachapán, Santa Ana, San Vicente, La Libertad, Cabañas and San Salvador. “All will be placed at the disposal of the judicial authorities in the coming days,” the FGR reported.
