The e.firma, or as it was previously known “Advanced Electronic Signature” (FIEL), is a digital file which works like a handwritten signature. And it serves to identify you in various services and procedures both governmental and private initiative. However, it is only valid for four years.

This way you can ensure that your e.signature remains current and carry out procedures such as updating your address or submitting your annual declaration:

Portal SAT:

You need to enter the SAT Portal, select “Other procedures and services” > “Identification and electronic signature” > “Validate the validity of your e.signature”.

Now you must enter your RFC and password, then upload the private key and certificate files to see the validity.

Mobile SAT:

Download the application SAT Móvil on your cell phone, log in with your RFC and password, then select “e.firma Certificates” to see the validity.

From your computer

You just need to connect your USB memory and open the folder with the .cer and .Key files of your e.firma. Now you can know the validity date by clicking on the .cer file
