India’s World Cup-winning coach Pakistan sport

Gary said, ‘I was offered to lead two formats. I think the job of coaching Pakistan is one of the top four or five internationally. I find the opportunity to work with some of the best cricketers in the world very tempting. What was important to me was the opportunity to work with some of the best cricketers in the world. Basically this is what inspired me to become the coach of Pakistan.’
Pakistan will tour Ireland to play a three-match T20I series in May. But they won’t get Gary on this tour. After the tour of Ireland, the Pakistan team will go to England. They will meet this former coach of India on that visit. His journey with Pakistan will begin with the series against England. Then he will take the Pakistan team to play T20 World Cup.
Gary is currently working as a mentor for IPL franchise Gujarat Titans.
