Starting today, May 1, prices for basic products in supermarkets, as well as gasoline, are rising in Israel, but the bad news does not end there. After Independence Day, another company intends to significantly raise prices for its products.

We are talking about the Tnuva concern, which has already sent out a new price list to retail chains, which states that some products will increase in price by 10 percent. This category includes uncontrolled milk (price increase by 3.5 percent), chicken products (by 9.8 percent), and delicacies (by 4.2 percent). For other goods, the increase will range from 4 to 10 percent.
The company emphasized that for a long time, since the beginning of hostilities, they did not raise the price list, despite the fact that they had to increase costs for raw materials and other services. They are now making an effort to update prices proportionately.
By the way, starting tomorrow, the company is also raising the cost of controlled dairy products by 4.48 percent.
“Cursor” wrote earlier that the leading beverage manufacturer in Israel announced that it intends to increase the cost of its goods in the near future. Products will increase in price by 5 percent.
