The first day of the VI Forum on Intercultural Dialogue has ended in Baku.

As Day.Az reports with reference to Trend, during the first day of the forum, three plenary and four panel sessions, the 5th meeting of ministers and the 3rd summit of international organizations were held.

During the sessions, participants exchanged views on current topics.

The speakers spoke in favor of expanding the dialogue, noting the current problems and threats in the world.

Let us recall that the VI World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue is taking place in Baku.

A total of 700 guests from around the world take part in the forum on the theme “Dialogue for Peace and Global Security: Cooperation and Interaction.”

The forum is planned to hold ten panel discussions and four plenary sessions.

The event, organized by the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, is held in partnership with reputable international organizations, including the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), UNESCO, ISESCO and the UN World Tourism Organization.

The forum takes place from May 1 to 3.
