The average age against Viking has received a lot of attention. The team that went into the break had an average age of just under 22 years, in comparison, Viking only had one player under 22 on the pitch yesterday.
It was at least as gratifying to see the average age at Nordre Falkum! Because for several years recruiting younger people has been a challenge in our supporter field, but earlier last week a new banner appeared.
“FALKUMS YNGRE” could be seen in the stands during the cup match against Pors, and at Sunday’s match against Viking they showed up strong. The young gang has come in with a positivity and drive that, together with everyone else, lifts the mood at Nordre Falkum another notch.
Even the guys just thought it was fun.
– Grouping was started by younger contributors in the field. With us, we have gained comrades and other younger people at NF. Our hope is to create a vibrant tribune culture at NF, eventually together with other younger people who see how much fun everything about tribune culture is. In any case, we all need men for the pumps at Nordre Falkum. Now it’s time for the Skiens people to know their visiting time! Hi Odd, says the young gang.

The players have also made a mark in the young gang at Nordre. Bork Bang-Kittilsen and Solo Owusu pay tribute to the gang.
– They created good energy and helped us turn the game around yesterday. I was surprised that there were so many young faces, it’s a hell of a lot of guys to go to a match, Bang-Kittilsen grins.
– I thought it was really good yesterday, they create an atmosphere that I feel we haven’t had for a while and they are helping to lift the team. Then it’s extra cool that they’re so young, continues Solo Owusu.
Oddrane also appreciates the hauling help.
– It’s really cool, the young guys just have to continue with the work they’re doing. They contributed to a very good atmospheresays Oddrane chairman Petter Gulløy.
On Sunday, the gang gathers again. Then Fredrikstad will visit the Skagerak Arena.
