Eight months after the Titanic submarine tragedy, which imploded at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean while en route to explore the remains of the Titanic, audio of the submersible’s last moments came to light.
In a documentary produced by the British network Channel 5 titled “The Titan Submarine Disaster: Minute by Minute”, they reveal an audio of the sounds detected during the second day of searching for the OceanGate Titan submersible in the depths of the Atlantic Ocean.
After Titan lost contact with its mother ship, several reports revealed that noises were detected at 30-minute intervals, including a banging sound, which kept hopes alive of finding the five people aboard alive. submersible.

“It could be someone hitting. The symmetry between those hits is very unusual. It is rhythmic, as if someone was making that sound, and the fact that it is repeated is really unusual,” said former Navy submarine captain Ryan Ramsey in the documentary that will be released between March 5 and 6.
However, it was determined that the noise could not have been caused by the occupants since they died instantly due to the implosion of the bathyscaphe two hours after beginning its immersion.
It should be noted that OceanGate, a company based in the United States, sent a small submersible called “Titan” on June 18 along with its crew to observe, as a tourist, the remains of the historic Titanic in the Atlantic Ocean.
According to what was known, the small ship was to return to the surface seven hours later. However, when two hours had not yet passed, contact with her was lost.
After learning of Titan’s disappearance, a rescue operation was launched to find the five passengers alive.
However, after several days of relentless searching by US and Canadian authorities, teams discovered that the ship had imploded shortly after submerging, causing the immediate death of all 5 occupants, including The head of the company, Stockton Rush, was there.
The rescuers continued their search and found several remains of the submersible almost 4,000 meters deep, which were analyzed by researchers to continue with the relevant investigations.
Both Canada and the United States opened several investigations to determine the causes of the implosion, considered one of the largest maritime disasters of the 20th century.
After the implosion became known, criticism focused on OceanGate, which was accused of negligence.
One of the opinions that came to light was that of the famous Canadian filmmaker James Cameron, who directed the film Titanic and descended to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean to the wreckage of the British liner 33 times.
